Orlando Drum is pleased to provide our reconditioned steel and plastic drums for use by the agriculture industry.
Our drums and containers are trusted to provide reliable protection in the transport or storage of materials needed by the agricultural industry to help produce the food that we eat, such as the fertilizers and insecticides used for farming.

Fertilizers
The agriculture industry produces the food we eat, and Orlando Drum is proud to help grow that food by providing our reconditioned barrels for the transportation and storage of fertilizer.
Not all fertilizers are equal, however: some are considered hazardous materials.
If a fertilizer contains ingredients such as nitrate, sulfur or ammonium, it is a hazardous material and requires a container approved by the United Nations for transportation and storage.
Thankfully, our reconditioned drums meet the standards set by the UN, and fulfill the parameters required for the transportation and storage of hazardous materials, including certain fertilizers.
Insecticides
Fertilizer helps our crops to grow, but it will still take quite some time until they are ready for us to eat. Until then, they’ll require protection in the form of insecticides.
As with fertilizers, certain insecticides are considered hazardous materials. Such materials can only be transported and stored in containers that have met specific UN-requirements. Thankfully, our reconditioned drums fulfill these very parameters, so you can feel confident knowing that your products will be appropriately protected while remaining compliant with the demands of the United Nations’ hazardous material transportation guidelines.
