Disposal Service
Our Disposal Service for customers consists of picking up used containers, washing and, de-identifying them. Some of these containers can be re-used and some are deemed non re-usable and or non-reconditionable and will have to be scrapped and the materials recycled. Please contact Orlando Drum for current pricing for this service.
Caution: All Drums and Tote Tanks have been properly prepared for transportation under DOT regulation 49 CFR 173.29. All openings on the empty container must be closed, and all original shipping labels and markings must be retained on the empty packaging. Drums and tote tanks picked up must be EPA’s RCRA-empty, stating that all materials that can be removed from the drum or tote have been removed, e.g., pouring, pumping, and aspirating, and no more than one inch of residual remains in the bottom of the drum or for totes no more than .3 percent of the total capacity. This regulation can be found in the EPA’s 40 CFR 261.7
